Google likes to make special banners to celebrate anniversaries, and they've been known to make some pretty interesting in-browser experiences. I've seen games, walking directions to Mordor, and quite a few odds and ends over the years.
Today I was told about this interesting Google search. Starting with a simple Google search, in this case I risked the interwebs imploding by Googling "Google", just to see the results. Nothing special.
Now compare this to a Google Search for GLAAD:
