Deck Z: The Titanic

Deck Z: The Titanic
I know that in many ways, the whole Zombie genre has been overdone, but I am still a big fan, which is odd because I haven't been able to watch most of the "classic" zombie films out there.  I'm not a huge fan of outright horror films, especially over-the-top gory ones.

The Resident Evil movies and things like Shaun of the Dead are just fine though.

I also like pretty much every zombie game I've gotten my hands on.

The only zombie book I've ever read though was World War Z and the Zombie Apocalypse Survival Guide.  The former was good and the latter not so much.  It had some contradictions about zombies that kind of pulled me out of it a bit.

I know Carolyn has Pride & Prejudice and Zombies, but I haven't read it.  I like the idea of original stories, not necessarily mash-ups of something famous with just a genre twist.  Even so, I'm thinking that I might enjoy this new book, Deck Z, because it is a genre twist on a historical event, not a twisting of someone else's work.

Might be a fun read.....
