Hurricane Katrina Animal Relief Fund

For those of you who don't know me, I can be a bit of an asshole. I've been around the block a bit and and a bit jaded. I've tried my best to ignore the news of Katrina and all of the suffering becuase for the most part, there isn't anything I can do and for some of what's been on the last couple of days I don't feel too sorry for what I haven't avoided.

I'm all for Darwinism and suivival of the fittest. Some of these people in New Orleans are just to dumb for their own good.....some of those people. There are many, many more people whose suffering and misfortune are overwhelmingly atrocious. I've been through war zones and seen mass graves before. Not pleasant. While I can ignore well-bodied, fully functioning adults who stood in the way of the hurricane and then wonder, "why me?", I'm touched by the suffering of the young, old, and the animals.

Everybody and their dog is collecting for the bipeds affected by the hurricane, but I haven't seen much for the animals. I thought I'd get off my lazy butt and put up one of my early Knights of the Dinner Table (KoDT) comics for the cause.




I'm going to list this on eBay (I'll post a link when I'm done) and put 100% of the profits to the Humane Society of the United States. Actually the only method of payment I'll be accepting are money orders made out to HSUS Disaster Relief Fund.
